Finally we have a (rescheduled) date for the showing of the documentary. It will be on Channel Five UK on Monday 17th February 2014 at 9pm.
Not only that but also they will mention the issue on THIS MORNING on the same day in the morning. They want Imelda and me to go on the programme to talk about hoarding. We have to go to London the day before so we can make it on time to the studios.
Imelda is happy to do the show because he wants to help people. Bless him. The fact he would get a whole meal in the hotel the night before and a free breakfast did not figure at all in his calculations. Really!
I had a brief chat today with one of the producers. I said I would do my utmost to ensure we were both there on time however there were no guarantees that after two hours on the train and a whole night in the hotel with Imelda that I would not guarantee not to shoot him by the morning. I am hoping they will be able to get us separate rooms.
I understand Eamon Holmes is the presenter (I don't often get the chance to watch morning TV). However Imelda knows him from when he worked in the BBC so that may be interesting.
I have given the programme the OK to take photos from this blog. I suggested the green sofa photos on here may be interesting.
This is only a part of a blog post for now. I will be updating again during the week as things progress.
From my point however I get my make up done for free. As long as they can do this without making me look like a drag queen I will be well happy.
Welcome to modern life. A blog all about the frustrating, the mundane and the ridiculous. Hoarders, Call Centres and now Retail - in fact anything I feel like blogging about goes. Hope you enjoy :) Lighthearted and honest although names may have been changed to protect the not so innocent. Author of 'Diary of a Hoarder's Daughter' and 'Confessions of a Call Centre worker'.
